YO-KAI WATCH™ is a Japanese phenomenon: a franchise about Yo-kai, infinitely friendly, sometimes scary, and often mischievous beings that secretly inhabit our world. They hide everywhere! Find them, befriend them, and gather them into a team on your Yo-kai Watch, then challenge evil Yo-kai and help people in need on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems!
With your Yo-kai Watch, you can finally see the Yo-kai hiding invisibly in your city. Many of them cause trouble in people's daily lives, so you'll need to assemble a team of six Yo-kai on your Yo-kai Wheel and summon them when you need their help. Each Yo-kai has a unique personality and abilities, so you'll need tactical skill in forming and changing your team in the face of adversity and evil Yo-kai.
FIND THEM AND MAKE THEM YOUR FRIENDS!
When you befriend a Yo-kai, they will give you their medal as a sign of friendship, which you can store in the Medallium. Your Yo-kai Watch can only hold 6 medals, which you can use to battle with the corresponding Yo-kai.
FOR ALL TYPES
There are over 200 types of Yo-kai, each belonging to one of eight different tribes. If they fight alongside members of the same tribe, Yo-kai become more skilled.
THE MORE THEY FIGHT, THE STRONGER THEY BECOME
The more they fight, the more their experience increases. Luckily, there are plenty of Yo-kai around town you can practice battling with!
STRENGTH IN UNITY
You know the saying: two heads are better than one? What about two Yo-kai?
Fusion is an ancient technique that combines certain Yo-kai to create a new, powerful union. Some Yo-kai can also fuse with objects you find around Springdale. Experiment with different combinations of characters and items!
LEGENDS
Legends are the strongest Yo-kai of all and the most difficult to defeat. If you collect all the medals on a Legend Page in the Yo-kai Medallium, you will gain the friendship of a legendary Yo-kai!
