With WRC 9, KT Racing, the passionate French development team behind the title, spared no effort to once again meet fan expectations, reaching even more surprising levels of realism.

 

An improved and even more challenging Career mode

Acclaimed as one of the best Career modes in racing games, WRC 8's was very positively received by rally fans. This mode returns in WRC 9 with improved gameplay mechanics, new opportunities to advance your team, a wider variety of events, and an even greater resemblance to what World Championship teams do every year during the season.

 

Lots of new content

WRC 9 will include more content, such as the three new events added to the calendar: the return of the iconic Safari Rally Kenya, Rally Japan with its famous asphalt roads, Rally New Zealand with its beautiful surrounding scenery, and two other rallies with completely redesigned environments. Players will also have the opportunity to race new classic cars, vehicles that have left an indelible mark on WRC history.

 

An even more realistic gaming experience

To improve and refine some vehicle behaviors, the developers once again worked on realism and car physics – focusing on suspension, mass transfer, and the braking system – to bring the game's authenticity to a new level. This attention to detail ensures that every vehicle behavior is faithfully reproduced on all surfaces and in all conditions that can be encountered in the real championship. The special attention paid to sound will also provide deeper and more realistic immersion.
