Tribes of Midgard is a co-op game with a unique blend of action, survival, and roguelite elements. Players must defend their village from hordes of invaders—deadly spirits and gigantic brutes—that every night threaten to destroy the Seed of Yggdrasil, the sacred tree you’ve sworn to protect. Only by protecting the Seed can you and your tribe stop Ragnarök—the end of the world!

Venture with your tribe into the wilds of Midgard to gather precious resources, hunt mythical beasts, defeat powerful adversaries, battle with giants, and find treasures. The further you stray from the village, the more arduous the challenges and the greater the rewards—and you'll need them to face the ever-stronger heralds of the apocalypse. But you must return before dusk to strengthen your defenses, craft powerful gear, and repel the nightly assaults.

A Blend of Roguelite and Survival Action:
Each game session begins with your tribe being dropped into a new procedurally generated world, with nothing but a loincloth to cover your back and an eternal oath to save the world. You will gain knowledge, experience, and unlock account features with each session, which will help you in your mission to prevent Ragnarök for as long as you can. The longer you and your tribe survive, the greater the rewards!

Face Colossal Challenges:
Protect the Seed of Yggdrasil from nightly Helthing invasions and work with your tribe to withstand the omnipresent threat of the Jötnar—epic giants who only want to smash the Seed and your village that houses it to pieces. The world (and the game) ends when the Seed is destroyed.

Forge Your Viking Legend:
Level up your character in each session by choosing a class and fighting through the wilds in search of resources to craft epic armor and mighty weapons. Discover and equip powerful runes that will complement your playstyle in surprising ways. Then, unleash destruction and prepare ingenious defenses to take your enemies by surprise.

Gather the Tribe:
When the giants come, it takes a village to take them down! Venture through Midgard alone or form a tribe of up to 10 players in online PvE co-op mode. Test your Viking skills with seasonal challenges in Saga Mode or customize the experience as you wish to see how long you can prosper in Survival Mode. We recommend tackling Ragnarök with a tribe of at least four players.
