The Surge 2 maintains and expands upon the promises of the first installment with high-intensity combat thanks to the original limb targeting system and careful character progression. 
The events of The Surge 2 take place in a new setting: Jericho City, a city devastated by chaos, realized with an ambitious level design thanks to Deck 13's enhanced game engine.
Combat will be more brutal and tactical than ever, with tons of new options thanks to the targeting system. In addition, new abilities, weapons, cybernetic implants, and drones will provide players with a huge arsenal with which to equip their character and battle against enemies and new bosses.
