The Escapists offers the opportunity to experience a whimsical view of everyday prison life and, as is the case with all inmates, the main objective is to escape! Under the watchful eye of the guards, players will have to carry out their daily duties while stealthily hiding useful items from under the noses of their captors. Potential escapists will learn to craft seemingly innocuous items into useful tools and even weapons, as well as using them to execute cunning diversionary tactics.
Players will have to learn when to toe the line, using their time wisely as they develop their own personal escape plans. Learning the daily prison routine and spotting opportunities are all part of life behind bars. Working out potential routes and even diverting the guards will soon become second nature.
Whilst remembering to attend roll call, hold down your job and keep other inmates at bay, players can also benefit from advancing their character’s stats through various means, including boosting their intellect and exercising regularly. Balance the daily routine with careful planning to achieve your ultimate goal – escape and freedom!
