Fake cameras are now increasingly similar to real ones... and represent an excellent, low-cost deterrent against thieves!
In particular, this is an identical copy of bracket cameras used both outdoors and indoors: the flashing red indicator and the cable make it look REAL!
The only trick is to mount it in a "credible" position: in front of a door, a gate, etc.
The LED requires two AA batteries, not included. The battery compartment is located under the camera's rain shield; sliding and removing this will allow access to it.
