Story The Valerian Isles, jewels of the Obero Sea. The inhabitants of these islands, long important centers of maritime trade, have always fought for control of their coasts.
The conflict was ended by a man named Dorgalua Oberyth, who went down in history as the "Dynast-King." King Dorgalua worked to dissipate the hatred between the peoples of the islands, and for half a century, Valeria prospered.
Upon the king's death, civil war once again erupted between three factions vying for control: the Bakram, who included much of Valeria's nobility; the Galgastani, made up of much of the islands' population; and the Walister, small in number.
The islands were soon divided between the Bakram and the Galgastani, and a precarious peace was established. No one hoped for a lasting calm...
