A galaxy with no limits
Star Wars: Unlimited, the new collectible card game by Fantasy Flight Games, is the latest addition to these new stories and has decided to start by returning to the very origins, to the very first trilogy that was the great gamble of the father of Star Wars and kicked off the mass phenomenon that the franchise is now.
The first set of this new TCG, in fact, revolves around the characters of the so-called "original trilogy", accompanied in this new chapter of the saga by two other titles that in recent times have contributed to the ever-increasing success of Star Wars: the film Rogue One and the animated series Star Wars: Rebels.
The first spark ignites
Spark of Rebellion is the debut set for Star Wars: Unlimited and immediately announces the game's intention to enhance both souls that represent the identity of every collectible card game.
Fantasy Flight, in fact, brings all its experience to the table in offering exciting and satisfying game sessions, enhanced by simple yet engaging gameplay: the game is immediately ready to support all the formats most appreciated by collectible card game players. From Constructed, based on decks artfully created to revolve around the Leader, an iconic character from the franchise who acts as the heart of the deck, to Sealed and Draft, which instead require adaptability in arranging a deck by improvising with what is available.
On the other hand, however, it offers the many fans of the franchise a valuable collection in which to appreciate never-before-seen illustrations and special card treatments that are breathtaking. Alongside the classic rarity scale (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary), Star Wars: Unlimited also features special versions of the cards that are already promising to be memorable:
Stunning foil cards are guaranteed one per pack, of random rarity, but they pale in comparison to Hyperspace cards: cards with a special frame that are naturally rarer as the card's rarity increases, making Legendary Hyperspace cards truly rare gems and Legendary Foil Hyperspace cards collector's items. And finally, the Showcase cards, 1 every 12 boxes!
