Spyro has traveled to the land of Avalar to defeat the terrible sorcerer Ripto, who has brought war to the worlds of Avalar. Every Homeworld has been captured by Ripto and his minions, and it will be up to Spyro to defeat him and bring peace to the realm of Avalar. In his adventure, Spyro will have to defeat enemies with his flames, super hits, and acrobatic moves, fighting his way through enemies and facing challenging tasks, including confronting dinosaurs.

The Dragon Realms are celebrating "the Year of the Dragon" when a mysterious figure appears to steal the Dragon Eggs. Under the control of evil sorcerers, an army of Rhynocs is guarding the poor defenseless eggs in the Forgotten Realm. With his old friends, Spyro sets out to find the scattered eggs, defeating the army of Rhynocs and the diabolical sorcerers. Light the fire in this adventure by exploring mysterious realms and facing incredible challenges, doing tricks on a skateboard, or stepping into a boxing ring.

Completely renewed by the Toys for Bob studio, Spyro Reignited Trilogy features fun and nostalgic gameplay, with over 100 levels and Spyro's entire team, made up of fearsome dragons and other zany characters (including Sparx the Dragonfly, Hunter, Sheila, Agent 9! and Sgt. Byrd) and many others. This new trilogy has improved game environments, a new control system, and all the cutscenes that made this adventure unique in its kind have been recreated.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a fantastic gaming experience true to the excellence of the first three titles. Every level of Spyro Reignited Trilogy faithfully corresponds to the original. The characters have been creatively reinterpreted, adding that extra touch that allows fans to rekindle their love for Spyro and his group of friends. There will be a surprising amount of detail and more modern game mechanics, full analog stick support, and improved camera management. Spyro Reignited Trilogy has also re-adapted the original soundtrack of the first three games, signed by Stewart Copeland.
