Filament Spectrum PLA Premium
Spectrum Premium PLA is an ideal material for both beginner and advanced 3D printer users and for those who want to achieve the desired effect quickly and easily.
Aesthetic, Biodegradable, and Reliable 3D Printing
Spectrum PLA Premium is a polylactide-based filament that belongs to aliphatic polymers. It exhibits complete biodegradability. Carefully selected color concentrates provide items made from Spectrum PLA Premium with intense colors across a wide spectrum. Moreover, the choice of an appropriate dye base for the pellets used in filament extrusion ensures highly efficient printing with excellent adhesion of printed items to FDM/FFF 3D printer build plates.
An undeniable advantage of Spectrum PLA Premium is its very low processing shrinkage. Therefore, it is particularly useful for large 3D printers without an enclosed build chamber. Spectrum PLA Premium produces excellent surface quality and detail, delivering reliable results.
Key Features:
- made from biodegradable raw materials
- good mechanical properties (high hardness and tensile strength)
- easy to use
- high aesthetic surface quality
- excellent for creating high-resolution parts
- high stiffness of printed items
- a relatively low melting point
- no shrinkage after cooling
- good for lost-wax casting methods to create metal parts
- wide range of available colors
- heat distortion temperature - 55°C
Applications:
- household items
- educational projects
- concept and demonstrative prototyping of designed finished and semi-finished products
- industrial design
- interior design
- casts and molds
The characteristics of Spectrum PLA Premium filament determine its application as a training material for those learning to employ FDM/FFF additive manufacturing technologies. Moreover, due to its extremely high aesthetic properties, the material is widely used in industrial design, particularly for conceptual and demonstrative prototyping of designed finished and semi-finished products.
The material is also widely used for the production of gadgets and corporate advertising media, as well as for all types of toys, figurines, containers, handles, and interior design supports.
