UV and thermal resistance
Spectrum ASA 275 filament is a professional material designed for desktop 3D printers.
The composition of Spectrum ASA 275 has been specially modified to make the material more flexible, improve flow parameters, reduce shrinkage, and increase interlayer adhesion.
One of the main advantages of modifying ASA 275 material is the simplification of printing parameters. Spectrum ASA 275 technical material can be printed with the same ease as PLA Premium. This allows for the production of large models without the risk of deformation after cooling, while achieving relatively high print speeds.
ASA 275 is a material resistant to UV radiation and other atmospheric conditions. ASA 275 can be used for printing prototypes, functional production tools, as well as elements that must withstand changing weather conditions, and even everyday objects.
Key features:
- excellent resistance to outdoor exposure and changing weather conditions
- good HDT thermal resistance - 85°C
- Vicat softening temperature - 94°C
- UV resistance,
- perfect interlayer adhesion,
- ability to print on desktop printers without a heated chamber
- high-speed printing (up to 200 mm/s)
- glossy print surface,
- ease of printing comparable to classic PLA
Applications:
- functional prototypes
- tools
- production tools
- end-use parts
- custom components
Spectrum ASA 275 filament is used in applications related to the production of prototypes for sports equipment, components for the automotive industry, as well as components for boats and electrical enclosures exposed to external conditions.
Packaging
The filament is wound on a neat, transparent spool. Each spool contains information about the material type, diameter, and recommended printing temperature. The filament is vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber. The entire product is packaged in original Spectrum Filaments packaging, foil-wrapped.
