Faster & Easier

Thanks to the optimized drive system and motion control algorithm, the Artisan has a dimensional accuracy of ± 0.1 mm when printing at a high speed of 180 mm/s. Not only is the print speed faster, but switching between tool heads and hotends is now quicker and easier. Quick-change platforms and tool heads allow you to switch between functions - printing, laser cutting, and CNC cutting - in less than a minute. In addition, Luban recognizes nozzle sizes and types and offers customized configurations, so you can easily create your prototypes, high-strength parts, or anything else needed for your projects. The dual extrusion 3D printing module also has a built-in motor to automatically raise and switch between two extruders, without additional tool head movements or gear changes. This allows for faster and quieter dual extrusion 3D printing.

Printing on Soluble and Breakaway Supports

The Artisan features a dual extrusion 3D printing module that supports PVA, HIPS, and other soluble materials. Simply immerse the print to dissolve the supports and leave the model with a smooth surface finish. Complex geometry is no longer a problem. Breakaway filament provides the same support as normal materials but is much easier to remove without the need for additional post-processing.

Save Time and Effort with Zoned Heated Bed and Easy Calibration

At the center of the Artisan's heated bed is a 260 x 260 mm high-temperature zone (also called the inner zone) that can reach 110 °C, while the highest temperature in the outer zone is 80 °C. While your model is placed in the inner zone, which heats up to 60 °C in just 2-3 minutes, the outer zone is not heated, saving time and energy. Artisan can automatically level the heated bed and calibrate the Z offset of the two extruders, then calibrate the XY offset using a semi-automatic program. In three steps, you can enjoy dual-material or dual-color printing with perfect adhesion and alignment.

Combined with the 40W high-power laser module, Artisan Premium elevates your project with maximum efficiency with precision and ease! When it comes to the cutting speed of 3mm basswood plywood, the 40W laser module is 4 times that of the 10W.

Focus via Autofocus or Focus Lever

Autofocus can be performed by entering the material thickness on the touchscreen. The laser can also be aligned using a focus lever. Release the focus lever and move the tool head down until the focus lever touches the material by adjusting the Z offset on the touchscreen.

Dimensional Accuracy 0.2mm

High-rigidity linear modules and a high-speed spindle enable the CNC module to smoothly carve or cut various materials, with a dimensional accuracy of up to 0.2 mm.

Your Safety is in Good Hands

The enclosure door detector allows Artisan to automatically stop laser or CNC work when a door is opened. The laser module contains a gyroscope sensor that ensures no laser beam escapes if the module deviates from its intended position. We have also incorporated an emergency stop button into the control unit. In addition, the process paused by the button can be resumed. The laser module automatically stops working when its temperature sensor detects an operating temperature higher than normal (a temperature above 55 °C/131 °F).
