It is certified biocompatible according to ISO 10993-10 for external skin contact and is compatible with most LCD and DLP 3D printers.

Mechanical Differences Between Variants
Emerald Blue, Clear V2, and Obsidian Black are considered the "regular" versions of Blu Tough, with similar but not identical mechanical properties. Clear V2 has higher hardness (85D) compared to Emerald Blue and Obsidian Black (80D), but lower tensile strength (39 MPa vs 50 MPa).
Easy Grey is optimized for ease of printing and miniatures, with the lowest Young's modulus (1000 MPa) making it more flexible, but with significantly reduced tensile strength (31 MPa).
Nylon Black is 25% tougher than the regular version, with the best IZOD Impact (53 J/m) and 50% elongation at break, making it the most flexible and impact-resistant.
Nylon Mecha integrates anti-scratch composite materials that reduce friction dust, ideal for gears and articulated parts. It offers the highest tensile strength (58 MPa) and stiffness (1900 MPa) among all Blu variants.
