Sika® Primer-507 is based on Purform® technology, an industry-leading polyurethane with less than 0.1% monomeric diisocyanate for improved health and safety at the workplace. It is a solvent-based, black primer, which reacts with moisture and forms a thin layer. This layer acts as a link between substrates and adhesives.
Sika® Primer-507 is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to the application of Sika elastic adhesives and sealants. This primer might provide excellent adhesion without previous activation step on many substrates. Sika® Primer-507 fluoresces under long-wave UV light for a limited period of time. This feature is used for process control.
