Sika® Primer-207 is a solvent-based, moisture-reactive, black primer that forms a thin film. This film acts as a link between substrates and adhesives.
Sika® Primer-207 is specifically formulated for the treatment of the bond face prior to the application of Sika 1-component polyurethanes. This primer may provide excellent adhesion without a prior activation step on many substrates. Sika® Primer-207 fluoresces under UV light for a limited time. This feature is used during the quality control process. Sika® Primer-207 is used to improve adhesion on a very wide range of different substrates such as float glass, ceramic frit glass, plastics, pre-coatings, painted surfaces, E-coatings and metals.
