In 1860, the process was developed: steam is used to soften solid beech, and cast-iron molds maintain the shape and position of the wooden components.

Everything is then left to dry in special ovens, and through this last step, the elements acquire the desired shape.

This version is characterized by arch-shaped reinforcements under the seat and under the footrest ring.
