The latest chapter in the classic strategy series returns, set in ancient China during the fall of the Han Dynasty, in a world where battles have the sole objective of conquering territory.
The game map shows conquered territories and those you can expand into using a simplified color system, thus paying homage to the original Romance of The Three Kingdoms XIV, released on PC in 1985. Everything, from war to diplomatic affairs, is geared towards the management and conquest of territories.
The different characters will then have greater individuality: the officers of the Three Kingdoms, such as Liu Bei and Guan Yu, will allow players to fully immerse themselves in the game's rich history. But that's not all: each faction reflects the ideals of its ruler, and you can experience different gameplay experiences depending on the ruler chosen. All this, even within the same faction: different policies lead to different expansion strategies, making the use of various officers a fundamental element of advanced gameplay.
