Plus4 from Qidi Tech is an FDM 3D printer that offers a generous build volume of 305 x 305 x 280 mm, allowing for the creation of large and complex projects. The printer has been upgraded in many ways compared to the previous model to offer even greater flexibility and precision. High-temperature, high-performance, and fibre filaments can be processed without problems. Active chamber heating ensures precise temperature control and leads to significantly improved surface quality and reduced warping of printed parts.
Versatile Toolhead Upgrade
Thanks to a versatile upgrade, the performance of the Plus 4 Toolhead has been significantly improved compared to its predecessor:
- the optimized multi-metal composite nozzle has a hardened, extremely wear-resistant tip that can easily handle all types of high-temperature, high-performance, and fibre filaments;
- the new Toolhead Cooling System features a larger hot-end fan and an advanced air duct fan;
- the Throat Nozzle Design has been improved and features better heat transfer, fewer clogs, lower leakage risk, faster installation and removal, easier filament cleaning, and faster jam removal.
Improved Drive System for More Power
The 3D printer is equipped with two independent motors, 10mm linear shafts, and lead screws. A 6mm aluminum print bed ensures better flatness.
Active Chamber Heating
Plus4 is equipped with a powerful 400 Watt heater that reaches a chamber temperature of 65 °C in about 8 minutes. Thanks to a double layer of chamber insulation, more stable and uniform temperatures can be ensured for greater energy efficiency.
