PrimaSELECT Ultem 9085 Filament Offers High Impact Strength, Toughness, & Durability
PrimaSELECT PEI filament has unique properties because it does not come into contact with water during the manufacturing process and is packed directly in a vacuum package. These properties make PrimaCreator PEI filament particularly suitable for use in FDM and FFF 3D printers. Ultem material for 3D printing has excellent adhesion between layers which results in a great improvement in impact strength, toughness, and durability. It offers high performance during the entire 3D printing process.
3D Print PEI Ultem Filament Successfully
To make a successful PEI 3D print there are some things you should keep in mind. Your 3D printer must have the necessary performance to meet the demands of PEI filaments. The material should be 3D printed with a nozzle temperature of 355-390°C. The heated bed should be set to 120-160°C and it is important to have a heated chamber. Also make sure that your 3D printer is placed in a room where there are hardly any drafts and temperature fluctuations.
PEI with Good Print Platform Adhesion
PEI is best printed on a PEI sheet at a print speed of 15-30 mm/s.
