The power twister is a bar consisting of two handles at the two ends and a central tension spring. It is also known as a spring expander or a bending bar. The bar is always made of steel, while the two ends include two rubber grips, which make the grip firm and secure.
The SPRING BAR is an inexpensive and easy-to-carry tool as it has a relatively short length, from 45 to 50 cm.
VERY USEFUL for training pectorals, and more, wherever you are. Some of the exercises we will see are at least as effective as those performed with expensive and bulky machines commonly found in the gym.
BAR-PULL - Grip the bar by the handles, then raise it above your head and then bend your elbows so that the equipment is behind your head. At this point, to bring your elbows in front of you, bring the ends of the bar together so that they meet behind your head. Hold the position for three seconds before slowly releasing the tension. Perform 3 x 10 repetitions of bar-pulls.
DOWNWARD BENDS - Involve holding the bar in front of you, but with your palms facing down. Rotate your wrists and slightly flex your elbows to effectively push down with both hands and try to bring the ends of the power twister as close as possible. Hold the bend for three or four seconds before returning to the starting position. Complete 3 sets of 10 repetitions.
