Polymaker PolyLite PLA-CF is a carbon fiber reinforced PLA. The filament shares the same exceptional printability as regular PLA plus with a smooth matte finish.

Matte surface finish
PolyLite™ PLA-CF contains 8% by weight of carbon fiber to give parts a smooth matte carbon fiber surface finish. Carbon fiber filaments for engineering applications have a great finish for aesthetic models, but they are typically cost-prohibitive for artistic applications, they show a more grainy surface finish depending on the CF content and, in the case of CF nylon, are more susceptible to absorbing moisture. PolyLite™ PLA-CF is the ideal choice for applications requiring an easy-to-use and affordable filament with a smooth-looking carbon fiber surface finish that hides layers.
Easy to print
PLA-CF features excellent dimensional accuracy and is manufactured with Polymakers Jam-Free™ technology which ensures excellent print quality with zero risk of nozzle jams caused by heat creep [2]. PolyLite™ PLA-CF performs well on most print surfaces with a bed at 25°C - 60°C and a thin layer of glue stick applied.
Note: the printer will need to be equipped with a hardened nozzle to print PolyLite™ PLA-CF.
