PolyMide™ CoPA is based on a copolymer of Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. The filament combines excellent strength, toughness, and heat resistance up to 180°C.
Features:
High heat resistance
Tough material
High tensile strength
Polyamide
PolyMide™ is a family of nylon/polyamide-based filaments. Manufactured with Polymaker’s Warp-Free™ technology, PolyMide™ filaments offer nylon’s inherent engineering properties and ease of printing.
CoPA
PolyMide™ CoPA is based on a copolymer of Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. The filament combines excellent strength, toughness, and heat resistance up to 180°C.
Recommended Settings
Nozzle Temperature: 250˚C – 270˚C
Printing Speed: 30 mm/s – 60 mm/s
Bed Temperature: 25˚C – 50˚C
Bed Surface: Glass with glue
Cooling Fan: Off
Note: It is highly recommended to use PolyBox™ during printing with PolyMide™ CoPA and to store it in its resealable bag. To ensure good heat resistance of the printed part, it is recommended to anneal the 3D printed PolyMide™ CoPA model. Annealing settings: 80˚C for 6 hours
If used extensively, PolyMide CoPA can be abrasive to brass nozzles. When using PolyMide CoPA, it is recommended to switch to a wear-resistant nozzle such as a hardened steel nozzle.
