OCTOPATH TRAVELER's combat system combines traditional elements with entirely new ones. One of these elements is the Boost mode, which allows you to accumulate Boost points in each turn of battles. These points can be spent to exponentially increase the strength of attacks and abilities or used to create combos. In this way, you can target an enemy's weak point to break through their defenses or, if an ally is in danger, heal them. Identifying the right moment to use Boost mode is essential for success in battles.
