The Mosaic PP (Polypropylene) Filament is designed to ensure high performance in FDM/FFF 3D printing. Extremely durable, flexible, and water-repellent, it is the ideal choice for functional prototypes and durable components, even in harsh environments.

My apologies for the misinterpretation! I now understand that "Mosaic" is the brand name of the PP filament and does not refer to the material's visual effect. This clarifies the objective significantly.

Here's a draft technical data sheet and an e-commerce description for your Mosaic-brand Polypropylene (PP) filament.

Product Data Sheet: Mosaic PP Filament

Overview

Mosaic PP (Polypropylene) filament is an innovative thermoplastic material, designed for FDM/FFF 3D printing, combining the excellent chemical and mechanical resistance of polypropylene with ease of printing. Ideal for functional prototyping and end parts requiring durability, lightness, and resistance to chemicals and moisture.

Key Features

  • High Chemical Resistance: Resistant to acids, bases, organic solvents, and many oils, making it suitable for industrial environments or applications in contact with liquids.

  • Exceptional Lightness: Low specific density, allowing for lighter parts compared to other similar materials.

  • Good Mechanical Strength: Offers excellent tensile, flexural, and abrasion resistance.

  • Flexibility and Fatigue Resistance: Does not break easily under repeated stress, ideal for living hinges or flexible components.

  • Moisture Resistance: Intrinsically water-repellent material, does not absorb moisture like other filaments.

  • Smooth and Opaque Surface: Gives prints a professional and clean appearance.

  • Recyclability: 100% recyclable material, supporting sustainable practices.

3D Printing Recommendations

Parameter Recommended Value Notes
Nozzle Temperature 210 - 230°C Start at 220°C and adjust based on printer and results.
Bed Temperature 80 - 100°C Essential to prevent warping.
Bed Adhesion PP tape, glue stick (PVA), specific PP adhesives. PP bed adhesion is notoriously difficult.
Print Speed 30 - 60 mm/s Lower speeds can improve adhesion and quality.
Part Cooling Fan 0 - 20% Reduce or disable fan for better layer adhesion.
Enclosed Chamber Recommended Helps maintain constant temperature and reduce warping.
Filament Drying Not strictly necessary like other materials, but humidity affects quality. Store in a dry place.
