FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Array can complete 40 print plates in a row before reloading is required. For many users, this is at least 72 hours of continuous 'lights out printing,' though this depends on the prints being run and the density on the print plate.
The printers know each print's height and track this within the software. Space is allocated based on this information, and a buffer space is added to ensure no collisions occur.
Each Array requires a Canvas Array account to operate, and Canvas is currently cloud-based.
Yes, the Array-based model (Array 8) comes with 4 Element printers, each with 2 material pods and a low-temp print head. Material pods and high-temp printing capabilities can be added to all printers based on your use case requirements.
Each Element has an integrated HEPA filter that can be easily replaced (every 6-12 months, based on use). Array also has a 3" hookup on top for an external fume extraction or filtration system.
Array is 1.6m x 3.2m x 2.1m. To account for door swing radii, we recommend a 3.8m x 1.6m footprint and with a minimum ceiling height of 2.1m.
Array is proudly designed and manufactured in Canada.
Array ships unassembled and will be assembled, built, and tested by Mosaic as part of your white glove installation service. Mosaic will also handle the training for your in-house staff.
Replacement parts will be available for purchase through Mosaic’s online store or through your Mosaic contact.
Array can be configured with either.
Yes, both Element and Array work with compatible third-party materials. Array will require a third-party NFC tag on any third-party spool to be registered by Array for use.
The warranty for Array is 12 months. If you purchase an extended warranty or an Array HT, the warranty is 24 months.
