Monster Hunter World - PlayStation 4 Monster Hunter: World introduces a complex living ecosystem where players will take on the role of hunters of ferocious beasts and engage in frantic battles that will unfold in the largest hunting ground ever developed in the history of this series.
The new drop-in multiplayer system will allow players to play alone or in co-operative mode with up to three other hunters, including those from other regions of the world. Monster Hunter: World will launch simultaneously worldwide, allowing Japanese hunters to collaborate with Western ones for the first time.
Monster Hunter: World will maintain the classic progression system based on gameplay experience and a robust crafting system; hunters will embark on exciting quests to hunt monsters, and the loot collected from defeated enemies can be used to craft new equipment and armor upgrades – crucial upgrades for surviving the elements and for defeating the more powerful enemies they will face later in the game.
Players will be able to move freely through maps that include living ecosystems and dynamic day-to-night transitions.
The flora and fauna of the hunting grounds play a crucial role in quests: players will have to take advantage of all the possibilities offered by the environment and use their cunning and experience to track their prey and face them in intense and unpredictable battles.
