Metroid Prime 4: Beyond marks the epic return of Samus Aran in one of Nintendo's most beloved sagas, with an adventure that pushes the series towards new narrative and gameplay horizons.
Setting and Plot
Samus awakens on the mysterious planet Viewros, an alien world rich in primordial jungles, forgotten ruins, and hostile creatures. Her mission? To find a way home while facing a new threat: Sylux, a lethal sniper with a deep grudge against the Galactic Federation.
New Abilities and Gameplay
For the first time in the series, Samus acquires psychic powers that allow her to manipulate the environment, solve puzzles, and confront enemies in unprecedented ways. Additionally, Vi-O-La makes its debut, a super-technological motorcycle that enables faster exploration of the game's vast open-world areas.
Technical Evolution
The game will be available from December 4, 2025 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, with an optimized version for the new console offering improved graphics, enhanced fluidity, and mouse-style controls via the new Joy-Con 2.
