Martha Is Dead is a dark first-person psychological thriller set in 1944 Italy that blurs the lines between reality, superstition and the tragedy of war.

 

As the conflict between German and Allied forces intensifies, the desecrated body of a woman is found... Martha!

 

Martha is dead and Giulia, her twin sister, the young daughter of a German soldier, must deal with the heavy trauma of loss and the consequences of her murder. The search for truth is covered by a mysterious folklore and the horror of war is getting closer.
