MAGIGOO PRO FLEX - THE 3D PRINTING ADHESIVE

Are you experiencing warping issues during 3D printing? Then MAGIGOO is an easy-to-use 3D printing adhesive designed to solve the problem of the non-sticky first layer (warping). This is the most common problem in 3D printing for production with FFF/FDM technology.

WHAT:

MAGIGOO Flex is designed for professional use, to work exclusively with TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer), and TPC (Thermoplastic Copolyester) filaments. The part should be relatively easy to remove once cooled, and glue residue should also be easy to clean off.

WHY:

TPUs, TPE/TPCs describe a group of polymers that are sometimes called thermoplastic rubbers. Thermoplastic rubbers exist as copolymers or as a polymer blend, generally composed of a plastic and a rubber. This gives them both thermoplastic and elastomeric properties. As a result, these materials have the advantage of being able to stretch to moderate elongations and return to their original shape.

In addition, these materials have excellent thermal properties, material stability, chemical resistance, and are more cost-effective to produce. Consequently, these materials are highly sought after in industrial applications.

Some flexible filaments show lower adhesion to conventional 3D printing build surfaces and a high tendency to warp. Others tend to stick too well to bare 3D printing surfaces like glass and PEI. MAGIGOO Flex is a specialized solution for FDM printing of flexible filaments developed to work with a wide number of flexible filament types. MAGIGOO Flex acts as an intermediary layer between the build plate and the printed part, allowing good adhesion and facilitating print removal as needed.

HOW:

MAGIGOO Flex has been designed and tested to work with several brands of flexible filaments.

• Shake the bottle.
• Apply to the desired area by pressing the nib onto the bed (activating the inner valve) and spreading as needed.
• Print according to the filament/printer manufacturer's recommendations.
• Allow to cool and remove. The print should pop right off.
• Clean: Use a damp cloth to clean.

SAFETY:

Using this product with filaments other than flexible types may cause excessive adhesion and damage to the build surface.

Tips:

For larger prints and filaments with a high shrinkage rate, a 20mm brim is recommended.
In case of excessive adhesion, it is recommended to wet the print bed with a small amount of water and work it slowly under the part, this should facilitate part removal.
