KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX On Destiny Islands live three children named Sora, Riku, and Kairi. The three friends want to leave the Islands to explore new worlds and have prepared a raft for this purpose. One night, the Islands are attacked by creatures made of darkness: the Heartless. Sora searches for his friends, but Riku disappears into a dark portal, and Kairi vanishes into thin air as he tries to grab her. Sora, meanwhile, obtains the Keyblade, a mysterious weapon that proves effective against the Heartless. The islands are destroyed, and Sora drifts into space. Meanwhile, King Mickey has left his own world to confront the growing number of Heartless and has left instructions for Donald and Goofy to find the "key" capable of protecting the world from darkness.
KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days The game is a prequel to Kingdom Hearts II and tells of events contemporary to Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and subsequently to the latter, connecting directly with the beginning of Kingdom Hearts II but focusing on Roxas's life. The game's title implies that the 358-day arc narrated in the chapter was experienced by two distinct characters (Roxas and Xion) who are actually two halves of the same person (Sora).
