In the near future, unknown creatures have forced humanity to hide in order to survive. The last hope lies in the hands of the "God Eaters", who fight using biological weapons called "God Arc" and developed by a company called "Fenrir". The survivors have created underground bases called "Ports" in hidden locations. They have also created a generation of new fighters called "Adaptive God Eater" known as "AGE".
