At the end of the 13th century, the Mongol empire destroyed entire nations during its campaign to conquer the East. Tsushima Island is the last remaining bastion between mainland Japan and the invasion of a massive Mongol fleet led by the ruthless and cunning general Khotun Khan.
As the island is engulfed in the inferno unleashed by the first wave of the Mongol assault, samurai warrior Jin Sakai rises as one of the last survivors of his clan. He is determined to do whatever it takes to protect his people and reclaim his homeland, no matter the cost. He must abandon the traditional teachings that forged him as a warrior to embark on a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.
