Ultrafuse PC/ABS FR
Ultrafuse PC/ABS FR is a V-0 flame retardant blend of polycarbonate and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, two of the most widely used thermoplastics for engineering and electrical applications. The combination of these two materials results in a premium material with a mix of PC's excellent mechanical properties and ABS's relatively low print temperature. Combined with a halogen-free flame retardant, parts printed with Ultrafuse PC/ABS FR exhibit high tensile and impact strength, higher heat resistance than ABS, and can meet the requirements of the UL94 V-0 standard.
Filament is delivered in printable condition. For best printing results, dry the filament at 60°C for at least 4 hours (a vacuum oven is preferred over a hot air dryer) and keep the filament dry, e.g., in a dry box.
The best available raw materials are selected from renowned suppliers. Production on state-of-the-art computer-controlled machinery ensures truly consistent filament, even between colors and batches. It will perform as expected every time.
All BASF products are 100% traceable to the source.
