POLYMAKER PC-ABS Filament 1.75mm / 2.85mm 1kg
Polymaker PC-ABS: The Premium Solution for Robust and Detailed 3D Prints
Take your 3D printing projects beyond all limits with Polymaker PC-ABS, an advanced polymer blend of Polycarbonate (PC) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS). This top-tier filament is designed to offer an unparalleled combination of toughness, heat resistance, and excellent surface finish, making it the ideal choice for industrial and technical applications requiring maximum performance.
Superior Mechanical and Thermal Properties
Polymaker PC-ABS excels due to its extraordinary impact and flexural strength, surpassing individual PC or ABS materials. It maintains its mechanical properties even at high temperatures, with an impressive heat deflection temperature. This robustness makes it perfect for creating functional parts, mechanical prototypes, and components intended to operate in demanding environments, ensuring reliability and durability over time.
Aesthetic Finish and Versatility
In addition to its exceptional mechanical performance, Polymaker PC-ABS boasts a smooth, high-quality surface. It is also compatible with metallization, including electroplating, offering further post-processing possibilities for a professional appearance. This combination of strength and aesthetic finish makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, from detailed prototypes to high-impact consumer products.
Reliable and Simple Printing (with the Right Equipment)
Despite its advanced properties, Polymaker PC-ABS is formulated for relative ease of printing, although it requires specific conditions for optimal results. The use of a printer with a heated chamber (90-105°C) and a heated print bed (90-105°C) is recommended to prevent warping and ensure excellent adhesion.
Choose Polymaker PC-ABS for projects that demand the utmost in strength, dimensional stability, and aesthetic finish. It is the ultimate filament to elevate your 3D printing creations to an industrial level.
Note: When printing with Polymaker™ PC-ABS material, it is highly recommended to use a heated chamber to reduce the risk of warping and internal stresses. However, in the absence of a heated chamber, it is highly recommended to perform a heat treatment (90° for 2h) immediately after printing. This process allows for the elimination of residual internal stresses accumulated during rapid cooling, thereby improving the dimensional stability, mechanical strength, and durability of the part.
