The HDMI extender over a single UTP cable with IR control is the right way to send the HDMI signal over long distances. Instead of using expensive HDMI cables, this device allows you to use existing Cat 6 cables while also performing the same functions as transferring Deep Color video and new uncompressed lossless audio. And if that's not enough, you can use your existing remote control to control the device through an IR blaster.
