A state-of-the-art research facility is overrun by drones whose AI has been infected with a virus, causing them to start exterminating humans. All outside communication has been severed. There is virtually no human life left inside the facility. Left behind is Thomas Liu, the head of the AI development department, who is determined to prevent the virus from spreading to the world to save the human race from extinction by evolution.
Despite having no combat training, Thomas is a tech-savvy researcher who can hack, shutdown, and manipulate these corrupted drones to traverse the facility. Long-distance signal disruption, radio and electromagnetic interference, hologram illusions, malware uploads, system intrusion, IFF spoofing...
