EasyPrint Carbon is a new type of high performance filament for your 3D Printer. The natural PLA is reinforced with carbon fiber. This results in a very stiff and high impact resistance filament. EasyPrint Carbon has many applications, such as drone and RC parts, car parts and every application where a stiff and rigid filament is needed. Due to the abrasive nature of this filament we highly recommend a 0.6 mm hardened steel nozzle or similar.
Unique properties
EasyPrint CARBON is a very useful material that has really unique material properties. Blended with small chopped strands of carbon fiber, EasyPrint CARBON filament provides incredible stiffness, structure and great inter-layer adhesion. Since the risk of warping is very low, EasyPrint Carbon is very easy to 3D print with and has a matte finish after 3D printing. The finished 3D prints are very rigid and useful if you need objects with a good stiffness to weight ratio.
Easy to use
EasyPrint Carbon does not require a heated build plate for processing. If your 3D printer has one, set it to 35-60˚C to get a really good first layer adhesion to the build plate surface. Due to the abrasive nature of EasyPrint Carbon, it is recommended to use a hardened steel nozzle or similar for this filament. Using a regular brass nozzle is no problem, but it will wear out the nozzle in a short amount of time.
Optimal build platform adhesion
EasyPrint Carbon sticks to BuildTak, glass plate with glue stick, 3DLac, PrimaFIX or Magigoo.
