What are Lorcana Starter Decks?
Simple: as the name suggests, they are the best way to start playing! Pre-built decks designed to jump straight into a game, completely bypassing the deck-building process, they allow newcomers to the world of Lorcana to immediately get into the action and discover the wonders that await them in this new magical world created by Disney.
Be careful though: this does not mean that they are a product suitable only for those new to the game! Starter Decks are also excellent as a foundation on which to build your own personal deck: they are perfectly modifiable once you get a little familiar with Lorcana and also hide a few small surprises for the most demanding collectors.
What's in a Starter Deck?
Inside the box of each Starter Deck you will find a pre-built deck of 60 cards, ready to be played the moment it is removed from its packaging, thanks also to the rule support included in the box and the assortment of tokens that are always useful in every game.
The absolute protagonists of the deck, however, are certainly the two characters on the box itself, whose cards are found inside the Starter Deck...in foil version! And for collectors, the surprises don't end there: Lorcana Starter Decks are designed to be customized, which is why inside their box you will find a Booster Pack of the expansion to expand your collection and, if you wish, make the first modifications to the deck right away!
The Grand Celebration Begins!
Now that the crisis caused by Ursula's Return has been averted, it's time to celebrate properly! The fifth set of Lorcana is dedicated to this joyful purpose, and sweet glimmer specialists of grand events take center stage within it: in the midst of the party, however, a new mystery looms on the horizon…
Visit an Illuminarium more lively and sparkling than ever: the Shimmering Skies expansion for Lorcana has arrived and, as expected, brings with it many interesting novelties. The dance is opened by new characters from Classics previously little or not at all represented in the collectible card game, such as Wreck-It Ralph: make way for the champions of Sugar Rush, like Vanellope and King Candy, accompanied by the tender but clumsy Ralph himself!
But the inhabitants of Litwak Arcade are naturally not the only new arrivals in Lorcana's increasingly populated Illuminarium. The world of Frozen is also expanding, with the appearance of characters from Frozen 2, the second chapter of one of Disney's most beloved sagas.
A new look then for Elsa, as well as for other characters from famous Classics: from a more serious-than-ever Kronk to a Legendary rarity Merlin whose ability promises wonders, to iconic songs like "A Little Bit of Sugar (in a Spoonful of Medicine)", the fifth set of Lorcana promises to give new life to a game now launched all over the world!
