In technical terms, PMPO watts are the maximum peak power reached by the system at a given moment, and therefore do not represent the actual global power of the speaker system, which is given instead by the sum of the individual RMS values of each speaker. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a precise calculation to convert PMPO to RMS because, for example, a power of 800W PMPO can be generated by a 30W RMS system as well as by an 80W or 100W system.
