Captain Toad sets off on his first adventure as a protagonist!
This puzzle-filled platformer sees the little hero venture through a series of beautiful levels, inspired by the worlds of the Super Mario series.
Levels from Super Mario Odyssey will also be included, allowing players to explore locations from various kingdoms, such as New Donk City.
Captain Toad and Toadette's desire to find treasure leads our two brave heroes to a super star! But just as they are celebrating their success, a huge bird named Wingo swoops down and steals the super star, taking Toadette with him!
Captain Toad immediately sets off to rescue his exploration partner, but can he save her alone? Many terrifying moments and difficult challenges await him, but this time he will have to be brave!
Toadette joins Captain Toad on his incredible adventure. Unlike traditional video game heroes, Captain Toad and Toadette have no special powers – these little creatures can't even jump!
What's more, they are terrified of pretty much everything, but they face the adventure head-on. Armed with a flashlight and a positive attitude, they must make their way through enemy-infested locations like a Wild West shantytown or a water park full of Goombas. Every location is brimming with puzzles to solve and secrets to discover.
The Nintendo Switch version can be played with a friend, sharing the Joy-Cons. While one player controls Captain Toad, the other can help him with things like turnip-based cover fire, so you can have fun treasure hunting together! You can also tap the screen to get a better look at hidden treasures!
