In the direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Captain Price and Task Force 141 face the ultimate threat. Ultranationalist warlord Vladimir Makarov is extending his power across the world, forcing Task Force 141 to fight like never before.
Fighting means making choices: during a mission, you can use various equipment and take different paths. In addition to Call of Duty's classic cinematic Campaign missions, Modern Warfare 3 features open combat missions that give you more freedom of choice. There is no single solution: it will be up to you to decide whether to act stealthily or to charge at every enemy in sight.
SETTLE OLD SCORES AND START NEW FEUDS
Modern Warfare III celebrates Call of Duty's 20th anniversary with one of the largest collections of Multiplayer maps ever, including both fan-favorite classics and new maps. All 16 maps available at the launch of the first Modern Warfare 2 (2009) have been updated with new game modes and features and will be available at launch. Additionally, 12 brand new 6v6 core maps will arrive with subsequent seasons.
In Modern Warfare III you will also find new maps for Ground War with innovative play spaces, as well as the epic return, in a more evolved version, of the popular War mode which debuted in 2017 with Call of Duty WWII.
NEW OPEN WORLD ZOMBIE MODE
For the first time ever, join other teams to survive and fight against hordes of undead within the largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever. In Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ), you'll find a new Treyarch Zombies story with missions, core Zombies features, and secrets to uncover. Get ready for an open-world PvE survival experience, where you'll face some of the greatest antagonists in Call of Duty history.
