7 Wonders is a strategic card game for 3-7 players centered on a draft* mechanic, the aim of which is to build the most powerful ancient civilization. (*Draft = A mechanic where each player holds a hand of cards, chooses one, and passes the remaining cards to the player next to them. This operation is repeated a certain number of times, and then each player plays with the final hand they have assembled.) You are the leader of one of the seven most illustrious cities of Antiquity. Develop your civilization in the military, scientific, cultural, and economic fields, but pay attention to the progress of your neighbors who share your same ambitions! There are many ways to gain victory points in 7 Wonders: by building stages of your Wonder, developing scientific areas, constructing civilian buildings, winning military conflicts, assembling guilds, trading, and amassing wealth. To perform all these actions, players need resources, produced each turn by cards, and therefore must rely not only on themselves, but also on the resources produced by their neighbors! A game unfolds over 3 rounds, called Ages. For each Age, each player receives 7 face-down cards. Each turn, players will simultaneously choose a card according to their strategy, play it, and pass the remaining hand to their neighbor. The cards represent the different Buildings that can be constructed: resource production, civilian, commercial, military, scientific, and guilds. At the end of each Age, players will face off in war with their two neighbors. After the 3 Ages are concluded, players will count the victory points provided by their City, Wonder, military effectiveness, and Treasury. The player with the highest score wins the game.
