Depending on the player's decisions, there may be different outcomes. It tells the story of three protagonists intent on thwarting a centuries-old threat, once thought to be just a tale. Captain Thorn Brenin, bodyguard Lo Pheng, scribe Hopper Rouley, and many others do not yet know that the Reapers have returned and wish only to drown the world in blood, so as to awaken the slumbering gods.
