In ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON, players will be able to assemble their own mech by choosing from a wide range of components and armaments, to move freely in environments designed to redefine the concept of three-dimensional mobility. Face overwhelming enemy forces trying to beat enemies in power and speed, and use dynamic maneuvers that maximize close and long-range combat. Players will be able to immerse themselves in adrenaline-pumping, fast-paced action, only possible through the use of mechs.
Story Overview
A mysterious unknown element was discovered on a remote planet, Rubicon 3. This substance, constituting a veritable energy source, would have significantly evolved humanity's technological and communication capabilities. Instead, it ended up causing a catastrophe, engulfing the entire planet and nearby stars in an inferno of fire and storms, giving rise to a Burning Star System.
About fifty years later, that same substance reappears on Rubicon 3, a planet now contaminated and isolated after the catastrophe.
Extra-planetary corporations and resistance groups have therefore begun to fight for control of the substance. The player will have to infiltrate Rubicon as an independent mercenary and will find themselves in the midst of a war for control of the substance, along with corporations and other factions.
