Range extenders eliminate any range limitation

Standard WiFi repeaters or access points can be used to expand Pronto's range, easily ensuring comprehensive, cost-effective coverage, regardless of house size.

Advanced connectivity: addressable IR ports

Addressable IR ports allow the same extender system to independently control devices of the same type in the rack. A typical example is decoders used to distribute content throughout the house. Each device is assigned a dedicated IR port, so the device only receives IR codes intended for it and not those intended for other devices. Without addressable IR codes, each device would always receive all IR codes sent.

Wired and/or wireless network control

Depending on requirements, the extender system can be used in a wired version via Ethernet for greater reliability or in a wireless version with the WiFi standard for greater installation flexibility.

Pronto's unique protocol ensures maximum control

For wireless control, the Pronto system uses the WiFi standard, but it has an additional intelligent protocol that ensures the reliability and timely execution of macros and IR codes.

Intelligent feedback guarantees real-time system information

Pronto's 2-way protocol regulates commands sent from the control panel to the extender systems: the systems accept the execution of the command or the user is informed of any impossibility to execute a command.

Emits IR codes up to 1MHz

The powerful IR circuit can transmit virtually any IR code. While most remote control systems are limited to 125 kHz, Pronto extender systems can send IR frequencies up to 1 MHz.

Stand-alone mode allows immediate product use

The extender system operates in stand-alone mode and requires no special settings. If encryption or a fixed IP address is desired, the internal browser is accessible via PC or laptop.

Compact flat housing

The compact and lightweight housing can be placed anywhere or hidden behind equipment.

Smart feedback indicators simplify troubleshooting

Color LEDs provide system information, such as Ethernet or WiFi connections, status, or command execution for IR, RS232, or relays (RFX9600 only). Errors are also displayed, simplifying troubleshooting.
