Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer uses amiibo cards based on Animal Crossing characters that work on New Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL with the built-in NFC reader or on Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL or 2DS using the stand-alone NFC reader/writer accessory "Fangate".
These are special cards that include an NFC sensor capable of unlocking the features of classic amiibo figurines! When an Animal Crossing amiibo series card is scanned, the represented character appears and you start designing their home to your liking. Each pack contains 1 special amiibo card and 2 regular amiibo cards
